Preparing for Riverhead’s 250th Celebration

Earlier this week, members brought out and prepared two treasured pieces of Riverhead Fire Department history, the Red Jacket hand-drawn pumper and our antique steam fire engine, for the upcoming America 250 Community Parade.

The parade will step off at 11:00 a.m. on July 4 in Downtown Riverhead. We look forward to proudly sharing these historic apparatus with the community as Riverhead celebrates this special milestone.
